looking for the name of a black & white movie saw when i was a kid, it gave me nightmares!i don’t know the actors nor if it’s sci-fi or horror.
i did remember that trees were alive/able to move, spraying an acid or a poisonous sap that blinded someone. the end was the trees were killed on an electric fence.
this damn movie gave me terrible nightmares i never saw the beginning but saw the end only. it was in the 70’s on regular tv

PLEASE HELP! I’m looking for a book I read about a year ago and can’t remember the title or author (although think he was German or Russian) It’s about a man who is a member of the nobility (maybe a prince) who gets obsessed with this really meek and mild woman. He goes to see her father to ask him for her hand but he’s an insane brute and throws him out. He marries her and she is extremely hostile to him. She takes a lover behind his back, he finds out and has him shot. They have a baby together and she kills the baby and blames the nanny and forces him to go along with this story. Eventually, he locks her in this windowless room and leaves her to die, while she’s in this room he defecates on her and tries to rape her (nice man) Anyway, he leaves her locked in there and feels guilty but is too scared to unlock the door. She haunts him and he drifts into insanity and then at the end they fall in love and they’re having sex (although it seems he’s actually having sex with her corpse) It’s a brilliant book and I have to know what it is. Please help.

I am trying to find the title to this movie, it aired on the Lifetime movie channel in the late 90’s. Here is how it goes: A young couple are married and learn they are going to have a baby boy, only he dies soon after birth. Devistated they move to a new house to start over fresh, but the house is haunted by the spirit of a young boy, it starts off all innocent with just little disturbances here and there, but soon escalates to where the ghost boy thinks the woman is his mom. In the end the husband leaves and the woman sets the house on fire and stays to be with the ghost child. If anyone can please tell me what this movie is called or who is in it that would be awesome!

I’m hoping to discover the title of a movie I watched several years ago on cable, so that I can rent/purchase a copy.
The story was of a small-town military veteran/hero, who returns home and receives a grand welcome as well as a bucket full of coins (quarters?). Later, his home is invaded by several thieves who torture him in order to learn the location of the money. He refuses to talk, and they feed his hand into a running garbage disposal.
His wife and child enter, she tells the thieves what they want to know, and then of course the crooks shoot all three to eliminate witnesses. He survives, but the wife and child do not. The remainder of the movie is classic action/adventure lore of the (now) one-handed guy tracking down the thieves and exacting revenge. As I remember, some of the story is set in Mexico.

im not sure if this is a real movie, or a book, and i only remember the ending. the main character, who has been chased the whole movie, but gangsters or something of the sort, ends up trapped on the roof and has no choice but to jump to avoid being captured and falls thorough a glass ceiling and lands on a mat in a grand ballroom at an elaborate party that was planned by his family/friends.

I am looking for a movie, I believe was made in Australia about 20 years ago, I believe. A very wealthy (and very homely) young woman marries a handsome, unscrupulous man…who obviously marries her for her money. He plots to kill her and thus, get everything. I believe they are boating and he pushes her overboard to crocodiles who maul her. She is found by an older man or couple and nursed back to health in a hospital, getting plastic surgery from a handsome Dr. who inadvertantly makes her exceptionally beautiful. She plots to RETURN to her “husband” , make him fall in love with her (which she does) and in the end, reveals to him who she really is. It’s a great movie!!!! Anyone seen it???

i can only remember bits and pieces of the book but very basically it is about a red headed boy who somehow ends up in a monestry with vivid detail about building churches. the boys mother is a witch who puts a curse on a man when he marries a woman her son wants to be with. she has an affair with the son and ends up pregnant to him and is outcast by her husband as the church she gives birth in burns to the ground.

I am looking for a TV movie (could be a pilot) I watched before 1990. The main actor who is in his 20’s is a architect in a US city. He gets an assignment to renovate a hotel in Europe maybe London He has the ability to talk with ghost but is in denial. The ghost want him to stop a serial kill who is killing children. The police think he knows to many details and hold him then they believe. He helps catch the killer. In the end you find out that the main go between for the ghost is near death and needs a replacement to help them find justice.

I saw a futuristic movie where civilians in the UK attacked the military. A woman is holding a daughter who is shot in the eye. She gives the daughter to the soldiers who take her away in a copter. The Wall goes up. 30 years later the one eyed girl is a major in the army. There is an epidemic and she is tasked with a team to go outside the wall and find a cure from a Dr. MaCane. They are attacked by the survivors outside who are a wild lot and eat humans. One of the soldiers gets eaten by them.The one eyed girl is captured and taken to Saul their leader who beats her. She escapes with the daughter of MaCane who promises to help her find MaCane. She catches up with two of the soldiers and they all escape on a train. I stopped watching then. Can anyone help me with the title? Dey.

I’m trying to find a book about a young girl who works in her abusive father’s candy shop with her mother. She sneaks out at night, because her room is hot at night and she’s not allowed to keep her windows opened, and goes to help an old, fat man at his news paper stand on the beach. She is bullied by a group of guys, and has a small crush on a guy from school, who plays baseball. She’s caught by her father sneaking out one night and it results with them on the roof and him falling off and then later going to jail.
I had read it multiple times through out my middle school/junior high years. It was about 8 or so years ago.

I read a book that revolves around a Dragon.. I am looking for a book by a male author, a young adult spy thriller type book. It was about a boy whose father had a brilliant idea for a computer but someone stole it and marketed the game first. The boy gets involved with the stealer and some strange spy stuff; he meets a quirky young spy not much older than him. In the end the boy is captured by the stealer who forces him to play a real live version of the computer game, during which he is almost eaten by crocodile (or alligator?). He’s then sort of rescued by the quirky young spy and another girl spy. I think it’s a series, and I’ve read the first two, I think…

I’m looking for book, its an Black Romance novel about A guy (I want to say he’s a businessman of sorts, all I know is he has money) who needs someone to pretend to be his wife (I can’t remember why). He meets this woman who I think runs a community center or something similar and who is in need of money to keep it running. He offers her money to pretend to be his wife. They intentionally learn alot about each other, he changes the way she dresses all to make it look real. Eventually they fall for each other. I wish I had more info about it. i’v been racking my brain now for the past 6 years trying to work out this book, so il be able to get it again, please help.
i thought it was a point horror unleashed but have done tons of research but no luck.
anyway plot, its about a girl who lives with her aunt and cousin and by night she’s a vampire hunter but shes not human either im not sure if shes a self hating vampire or just blessed with supernatural skills, anyway she rides a motorbike, and she used to be part of a supernatural gang but she left them for some reason but she used to lead it, she has to go back to ask for help cos of some blue light/energy thing that they have to stop otherwise something will happen to the world (maybe evil rising or something). she has to be acsepted (sp?) back into the group but the leader is someone she doesnt get along with, but in the end she ends up being able to see into his mind and him into hers and then they’r like soul mates, meant to be, the other members of the group are young ranging from 5-18 i think and they all have different powers anyway this blue thing they think is one thing is actually being controlled by a little girl who doesnt even realise so they have to kidnap her, they later return her with no consequences they get oneof the younger members of the group to take her back, so noones suspicious. i also think the main male character in the group is called morgate or morage but other than that no idea.

The book recalls a murder that really happened and this guy who plagiarized the book is investigated. The old man was really a younger man in diguise, and he set up the guy who plagiarized the book. I’m looking for a late50’s to early 60’s Sci-Fi Horror movie. I group of astronaunts are sent to mars to pick up survivors of a crashed alien spacecraft. They find one survivor, a female and set back for earth. She kills all the men on the ship and was going to kill the only woman but she scratched her and she dies. However she left some eggs all over the ship. It was a great movie and i’d love to see it again. had a strong plot and the special effects where not that bad.

I’m looking for the title of a book I read in school.
It is set in the 19th Century in a little village and when an illness becomes rife and there is no cure it is then revealed the village is not real. It’s in a museum. The real time is actually the 20th Century. The adults had signed up to live here and knew what was going on but the children that had been born there believed they lived in the 1800’s. One girl is told all about and is forced to sneak out into the unknown modern world to find the cure as the museum owners will not help them. It’s a strange book but would really love to re-read it now I’m older. It was about 2003 I read it.

I’m looking for a movie that’s about a woman who teams up with someone to kill her husband. After the person injects the husband with a type of drug, the husband is pronounced dead and the woman stays with all his money. But the drug they used only worked for so long and after the autopsy, the husband wakes up and goes to his home to get revege on his wife. He tortures her in the basement. I know the actress’s, who plays the wife, name starts with a “C” and she looks like Anna Nicole Smith, alittle bit.
